CISCO CCNA Tutor (Hamilton)
AMES IT Academy has been operating for 18 years, helping students of all ages to gain international qualifications and real world skills.
Reporting to the CISCO Team Leader, we are looking for someone to step up to train the future Network Designers and systems administrators of New Zealand.
As a tutor with AMES you will be delivering 1 to 2 classes a day in 4 hour blocks using the provided CISCO CCNA Curriculum. You will genuinely care for your students, supporting and encouraging them to achieve a successful outcome.
Apart from getting them qualified, your real world experience will help our students to be job ready.
You will probably have experience as a Network Designer or Systems Administrator, have excellent tutorial skills and most importantly be CCNA certified.
Your starting salary will be between 40 and 45K depending on your experience and subject to review after 3 months. Besides training students, AMES also trains our staff. Professional development is available after one years’ service. You may gain a Certificate in Adult Education and will be given the change to up-skill in the field of your expertise as well as other subjects.

As a tutor with AMES you will be delivering 1 to 2 classes a day in 4 hour blocks using the provided Microsoft Curriculum. You will genuinely care for your students, supporting and encouraging them to achieve a successful outcome.
Apart from getting them qualified, your real world experience will help our students to be job ready.
You will probably have experience as a Systems Administrator, have excellent tutorial skills and most importantly be MCSA 2003 certified.
Your starting salary will be between 40 and 45K depending on your experience and subject to review after 3 months. Besides training students, AMES also trains our staff. You may gain a Certificate in Adult Education and will be given the change to up-skill in the field of your expertise as well as other subjects.
