Information Technology (IT) Courses

It has been our policy since our inception to train people in international certificates and diplomas (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) so that our graduates are quickly employed in their chosen career throughout the world. AMES I.T. Academy is New Zealands' premier I.T. training provider.

We deliver technical, networking and computer programming courses with curriculums specifically designed to train students with the practical skills required for the I.T. industry. Students will find the courses suitable for all learning types and experience whether you are just starting in this dynamic industry of Information Technology or updating your qualifications later on in your career. All our courses are instructor-led with dedicated tutors who are equipped with the latest networking technology and programming applications to deliver the most comprehensive computer training you can have. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 15 to ensure that you get a 'hands-on' experience during your IT certificate or diploma course here at AMES I.T. Academy.

The certificate courses are 12 weeks duration, 5days a week of 4 hours classroom study per day (full time study) and the diploma courses are of 36 weeks duration also 5 days a week of 4 hours classroom study per day. You will also be assigned various readings, networking assignments and computer 'labs' to acheive outside of this class time (it is recommended that you have access to a computer outside of class).
